E' di poche ore fa l'annuncio ufficiale che le superstar inglesi Chemical Brothers faranno tappa - con un esclusivo dj set - al "Day Off Music Festival" in programma l'8 agosto alla Masseria Solicara in provincia di Lecce. Per la prima volta il duo di fama mondiale si esibirà nel Sud Italia per quella che si preannuncia una nottata unica. Attesi migliaia di appassionati e turisti, ansiosi di trascorrere una notte sulle note della dance, trascinati dai ritmi del nuovo album "Further" (Emi, 2010) e dell'ormai classica "Hey Boy Hey girl" (una delle tante hit del duo britannico formato da Tom Rowlands e Ed Simons).
L'unione della musica con i luoghi selvaggi del Salento rendono questi appuntamenti, firmati Day Off, unici: la terra salentina è una delle mete turistiche più affascinanti e ricche di patrimoni naturali dell'intera penisola. Basti segnalare che quest'anno Loneny Planet International ha inserito Lecce e la sua provincia - unici riferimenti in Italia - tra la top ten per i viaggiatori "Best In travel 2010". In estate il tacco d'Italia si trasforma, anche per il 2010, ospitando manifestazioni musicali di rilievo: Day Off, oltre Chemical Brothers, porterà on stage Shaggy (lo scorso anno decine di migliaia di presenze a Gallipoli), Congorock, Sizzla, Andy C e molti altri). La data da segnarsi in agenda rimane su tutte quella dell'8 agosto con i Chemical Brothers!
